Milikowsky Tax Law is proud to announce its Second Annual Fearless Scholarship opportunity for the San Diego School district Junior and Senior students. The purpose of the scholarship competition is to encourage high schoolers to identify a passion they have that is held back by a fear.
Milikowsky Tax law defends businesses investigated by government agencies, such as IRS and State of California for tax issues. Our clients are typically in crisis and relying on us to navigate the law to resolve their financial issues. We are also passionate about giving back to the community and mentoring students to overcome fear. Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve their goals without limitation.
Students are invited to submit an essay by answering the questions on the form on this page or, by responding to the prompt below. Essays must be submitted via email no later than March 1, at the email listed below under the requirements section.
We will select one finalist from each high school and invite them to attend a private, motivational event with guest speaker, Jason Romero, on March 19, 2025. Jason Romero is an inspiring individual who, despite losing his vision due to a degenerative eye condition, embarked on a remarkable journey across the United States. In 2016, he ran 3,063 miles from Los Angeles to New York in just 59.5 days, averaging 51.5 miles per day. This accomplishment not only set multiple world records for the blind and visually impaired but also served as a powerful testament to his resilience and determination. Jason’s story is one of overcoming immense physical and emotional challenges, and he now dedicates his life to inspiring others through his experiences as an extreme endurance athlete, motivational speaker, and author.
Each finalist will have the opportunity to meet and speak with Jason Romero and learn about his journey and relationship with fear. Learn more about Jason Romero at his website: https://jasonromero.net/home
Fear manifests differently in everyone’s lives. For example, the fear of failing. The fear of public speaking. The fear of being misunderstood. We encourage students to identify and explore a personal fear they would like to overcome by answering the prompts below:
